Man charged with making death threats in Aldridge incident

A man has been charged with making death threats after an incident in Aldridge.

Dale Ebert, aged 50 and of Parkhouse Grove, has been charged with making threats to kill by West Midlands Police.

It comes after an incident which saw police officers close a road on Tuesday night.

Parkhouse Grove was cordoned off and a number of residents were evacuated from their homes while the incident was dealt with.

Ebert was arrested at 8am on Wednesday.

He was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
