Armed police carry out early-morning raid in Walsall
Neighbours received an early-morning wake-up call during an armed police raid in Walsall.
Armed officers descended on Palfrey on Friday morning but failed to find a suspect and did not seize anything.
Residents in Milton Street and Rutter Street were woken by officers knocking on doors and shouting.
West Midlands Police confirmed a planned warrant had been executed at a property on Rutter Street at 3.30am.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "A planned warrant was executed at a property on Rutter Street, Walsall at 3.30am.
"No arrests were made and nothing was seized."
