Man charged with attacking emergency worker after A449 incident

A man has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and attacking an emergency worker after an incident on a major road through the region.

Dreece Dayil, from Wolverhampton, was arrested after the incident happened on the A449 near Worcester and Junction 6 of the M5 on Friday.

Dayil, 25 and of All Saints Road, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without valid insurance, driving while disqualified, assaulting an emergency worker and obstructing police.

He is due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on October 18.
