Cocker Spaniels Missy, 10, and Biscuit, five, were taken from the secure garden of Simon and Lisa Lilley in Brewood on March 5.

Their daughter, Rachel Lilley, said they are not giving up hope in the search for their dogs.

The 29-year-old added: "I live next door to my parents and as I'm a single parent I'm allowed a support bubble so I went round for my tea.

"I left at about 7pm then all of a sudden I had a call from my mum in floods of tears saying Missy and Biscuit had gone missing.

"We have three other dogs and one started to bark, they were all outside in a very secure garden.

"My mum went out and realised the gates were open, she just shouted they've been stolen.

"She was in hysterics. I ran out of the house, we called the police straight away and we went on Facebook and there was another incident reported and three other attempts in the area.

"We've got CCTV of a black Audi driving up to the house, and people eyeing up the house earlier in the day.

"On the footage you can hear the dogs being taken but can't see it.

"The dogs don't leave each other, they are so loving and would go to anybody.

"The police had patrol cars going around the area.

"It's seven weeks later and they're keeping on it as are we.

"All of our lives have changed, my mum is distraught.

"She's slept downstairs for seven weeks as she doesn't want to leave the other dogs."

Rachel added: "The pet detective Lisa Dean is helping us with social media and has been a massive support.

"I had to get a new phone as it broke as it was that worn out from all the messages.

"The hot air balloon was for my cousin's 21st birthday and we contacted the company asking if we could have a banner on it.

"It had a massive impact as it flew all over Brewood.

"We really appreciate all the support that we've had."

Rachel also said that her mother is a dog walker and has had to carry a personal alarm since as he feels like "she's being watched all the time".
