Bird hide destroyed at Staffordshire Wildlife Trust

A bird hide at a wildlife trust has been destroyed by vandals.

The hide at Doxey Marshes in Staffordshire was vandalised overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

Stafford Borough Police tweeted saying: "The bird hide at Doxey Marshes has been extensively damaged over night 24th/25th April. Anyone with any information about the offender(s) should contact 101 ref 201 of 25th April."

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust tweeted saying: "Doxey Marshes bird hide update. Sadly there was more vandalism to the small hide at Doxey on Saturday evening. The hide is now totally destroyed.

"Anyone on the reserve who witnessed anything suspicious please contact Staffordshire Police quoting incident 267 11/04/2021."
