A cannabis haul worth £650,000 has been discovered by police in the Black Country.

Around 600 plants were found at the cannabis factory in Walsall on Friday evening.

Officers were at the site yesterday seizing the plants.

St Matthew's Policing Team praised the work of officers involved, posting on Twitter: "Team 3 officers have had a busy day clearing out a large cannabis factory that was found by Team 1 officers.

"Approximately 600 plants, at a value of around £650k has been taken off the streets. Fantastic work by all involved."
