Wombourne man charged with racially aggravated assault

A man will appear at court charged with racially aggravated assault following an alleged incident in a village near Wolverhampton.

Thomas Simpson, 24, will appear before Cannock Magistrates Court on February 3.

Simpson, from the Wombourne area, is charged with racially aggravated assault and racially aggravated behaviour causing harassment, alarm or distress.

The alleged incident took place in Wombourne Pool Bar on July 10 last year.
