Appeal made to help find wanted man

An appeal has gone out to help locate a wanted man in relation to thefts in the Wyre Forest area.

West Mercia Police have put out the appeal to help with locating Steven Scarratt.

Scarratt has no fixed abode, but the force said the 29-year-old has connections to the Stourport area.

He is wanted by the force in relation to a number of offences, with thefts from homes in Kidderminster among them.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for the public's help in locating Steven Scarratt.

"Scarratt is 29 years-old of no fixed abode, with connections to Evesham, Stourport and Oxford areas.

"We want to locate him in relation to a number of offences, in particular theft from homes in Pershore, Evesham and Kidderminster.

"If you have seen Scarratt, do not approach him and call 101 with any information."
