Officers attended an address on High Street on Friday afternoon to execute a drugs warrant.

Cash, drugs believed to be cocaine and mobile phones were recovered from the address, and two people were arrested – an 18-year-old male from the Stone area on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (cocaine), and a 20-year-old female, also from the Stone area, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (cocaine), possession with intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis) and obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duty.

Both have been released under investigation.

Giles Parsons, Neighbourhood Policing Team Commander for the Stafford Borough, said: “Officers acted swiftly to execute this warrant and now drugs and cash obtained by criminal activity have been removed from the streets of Stone.

“We will continue to proactively seek to disrupt drug activity in our communities to make Stone a safer place to live.”
