Man arrested after victim shot in arm and neck in Cradley Heath

A man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was shot in a car.

The 18-year-old man was arrested on October 3 after the victim, in his 20s, was left in a serious condition after being shot in the arm and neck on September 29.

The victim was found in a Vauxhall car with a smashed-out window in Upper High Street, Cradley Heath, where he is believed to have driven to after being shot elsewhere.

It was the second of three shootings in three days in the Black Country, after bullets were fired towards City of Wolverhampton College in Paget Road the day before and two men were gunned down in a Range Rover parked at the Albion Works industrial estate in Brierley Hill, the day after.

The man who was arrested in connection with the Cradley Heath shooting has since been released on police bail.
