Three men, armed with a knife and a suspected gun, raided the store on Harrison Street just before 1.30pm on Wednesday.

Staff ran after them but had both weapons waved at them, leading to the men escaping in a car, West Midlands Police said.

Now an investigation has been launched by officers in a bid to track down the gang.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the force via their website, or by calling 101 anytime, quoting log number 2242 of 7 October.
