Teen pleads guilty after police officer knocked off motorbike in Oldbury

A teenager has pleaded guilty to a number of offences after a police officer was knocked off his motorcycle while on duty in the Black Country.

The officer was at the junction of Causeway Green Road and Ashes Road in Oldbury on August 27 when he was knocked off his bike, suffering minor injuries. The driver failed to stop at the scene.

Callum Fellows, aged 18, of Mervin Road, Wolverhampton appeared at court today charged with multiple offences.

He pleaded guilty to assault, dangerous driving, criminal damage and driving while disqualified.

He denied a charge of wounding with attempt to do grievous bodily harm.

Fellows was remanded in custody and will next appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court for sentencing on October 6.
