One catalytic converter was stolen from a car on Penkvale Road and another from the Drummond Road Industrial Estate.

Staffordshire Police have produced an online guide with advice on how to keep cars safe.

This includes always keeping the car locked, securing the licence plate with tamper-proof screws, parking in well-lit areas and hiding electrical equipment.

It has also produced a small section on catalytic converters, providing advice on how to protect a car from having its converter removed.
