WATCH: CCTV appeal as Cannock church window smashed in vandal attack

Police have released CCTV footage after a vandal threw a rock through the glass in a Cannock church door.

An appeal has been launched to trace two people.

Staffordshire Police say a male threw a rock at the door of St Luke's Church, in Church Street, Cannock, smashing the glass.

The incident took place on Sunday, September 13, at 3.30pm.

Officers have released video footage of two people - a male and female - they wish to speak with.

Anyone with information is asked to email megan.mcandrew@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk.

Cannock Police tweeted: "APPEAL | Criminal damage to St Luke's Church, Cannock. On Sunday 13th Sept @ 15.30 hours, the male threw a rock at the entrance door, shattering the glass. If you recognise the male or female, please contact megan.mcandrew@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk Inc 172 13/09/2020."
