Man faces attempted murder charges after man stabbed and woman hurt in Black Country attack

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed and a woman attacked in a Black Country street.

Emergency services were called to Clock Tower View, in Wordsley, just after 8.30pm on September 2, following reports of a domestic disturbance.

Three people were injured in the disturbance, a spokesman for West Midlands Police confirmed.

A woman received head injuries and a man suffered knife wounds.

Levi Goodwin, of Wrens Avenue, Tipton, was charged with two counts of attempted murder and appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court on Monday, September 7.

The 27-year-old has been remanded in custody and the case has been committed to Wolverhampton Crown Court, with the next hearing scheduled for Monday, October 5.
