A £5,000 reward is being put up to trace a teenager wanted in connection with a murder.

Ceasar Bello

The charity Crimestoppers has launched the appeal for information on Ceasar Bello, 18, who is being sought by police investigating the killing of 20-year-old Panashe Bako at the Crown Plaza hotel in Birmingham on July 21.

Detectives believe Bello, who also goes by the name Peace, may now be hiding in London. One man has already been charged with murder.

Crimestoppers is urging anyone with information to call 0800 555111 anonymously and is offering £5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Director of operations Mick Duthie said: “This young life has tragically been taken away and our heartfelt condolences go to the family and friends of Panashe. Our charity believes in safe communities and we hope our reward and appeal will go some way in helping Panashe’s family eventually see justice.

“We are appealing to anybody with any information on Ceasar Bello’s location to do the right thing and to tell our charity what you know, 100 per cent anonymously. What you tell us can make all the difference in keeping others safe from harm."

Mr Bako was stabbed at the hotel at around 7.20pm. Efforts were made to save his life but he died in hospital.
