Shots fired at house in Walsall

Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a home in the Black Country.

West Midlands Police officers were called to Cairns Street, in Walsall, on Wednesday night.

No one was injured in the incident.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We are investigating after shots were fired at a house on Cairns Street in Walsall on Wednesday night.

"The shots were fired at around 11.40pm. Fortunately, there were no injuries to any occupants.

"Enquiries continue and anyone with information is asked to contact us."

Witnesses can call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 20WS/152762K/20.
