Walsall street brawl sees four men arrested

Four men have been arrested after a Black Country brawl which left a man with a head injury.

The fight happened in Moncrieffe Street in Chuckery, Walsall, at around 3pm yesterday.

Four men, aged between 22 and 47, were arrested after the violence which saw a car damaged and at least one man injured.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to Moncrieffe Street in Chuckery, Walsall, just before 3pm after several reports of a large group of men fighting in the street.

"A car was damaged and the driver was taken to hospital with a head injury.

"Four men, aged between 22 and 47, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and remain in police custody for questioning."

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "“We were called at 2:50pm yesterday to reports of an assault in Moncrieffe Street in Walsall.

"Two ambulances attended the scene. On arrival we were presented with two patients, both men.

"One was treated for serious injuries before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

"The second man was treated for minor injuries and also conveyed to hospital.”
