Motorcyclist, 18, suffers 'life changing injuries' in crash

A motorcyclist has been left with 'life changing injuries' following a crash in the West Midlands.

The man, 18, suffered a head injury following the crash in Birmingham on June 17. He remains in hospital.

The driver of a white Toyota Yaris remained at the scene and is continuing to help police with enquiries.

West Midlands Police is appealing for more information into the crash which happened at the junction of Coventry Road and Forest Road at about 11pm.

Sergeant Dean Caswell, from the force's serious collision investigation unit, said: "Unfortunately the man has suffered life changing injuries and it’s important for us to understand exactly what happened.

"Our enquiries are continuing and I would urge anyone who may have seen the collision or has dashcam footage to get in touch."
