Around 100 cannabis plants have been found growing in a Wolverhampton house.

About 100 cannabis plants were found in a house in Allen Road, Wolverhampton

The cannabis farm was found at a terraced house in Allen Road, Whitmore Reans, on Sunday.

Police made the discovery after being called to reports of windows being smashed at the house near West Park at around 11.40pm.

Officers remained at this scene on Monday along with electricity workers from Western Power Distribution.

No arrests have been made.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "We discovered about 100 cannabis plants at an address in Allen Road, Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton last night.

"Officers attended the property following reports of windows being smashed at about 11.40pm.

"The plants are being removed and investigations are ongoing.
