Burglary suspect caught taking stepladder from Black Country home

Police are tracing this man in connection with a burglary at a Black Country house.

Security cameras captured a man taking some stepladders from inside a home on on Terrace Street, Wednesbury.

The incident took place at around 5.40pm on March 21.

The man, who was dressed in a grey coloured tracksuit with his hood up, is seen approaching the porch before opening the door.

Once inside, he takes a quick look around before making off with the item.

In appeal on social media, a spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We’d like to speak to this man about a burglary at a house on Terrace Street, Wednesbury, when a stepladder was taken from a front porch."
