Appeal after 11 bilking offences in Walsall and Birmingham

Stolen cars and false plates have been used in at least 11 bilking offences at petrol stations in Walsall and Chelmsley Wood.

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the fuel theft offences.

A spokesman for Walsall Police said: "Do you recognise this man?

"We want to speak to him after a number of fuel theft offences at petrol stations across the Walsall and Chelmsley Wood since January.

"There have been at least 11 connected offences which we believe have been committed using stolen cars on false registration plates.

"Two of the main petrol stations being targeted are Shell Moorcroft and Chelmsley Wood service station, both on the Chester Road.

"If you recognise him or have any information, please contact us, quoting crime reference number 20SH/80711L/20 via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, call 101 anytime or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
