Worker pushed and her son punched in shop robbery in Wolverhampton

A shop worker was pushed and her son repeatedly punched in a robbery in Wolverhampton.

A man police are searching for

Two men, one armed with a knife, robbed a shop on Central Avenue, Portobello, at 6.20pm on March 7.

The worker was pushed out of the way to steal the till and when her son tried to stop them he was punched.

The robbers fled with the contents of the till.

Police are now appealing for information.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Do you recognise this man?

"We want to speak to him after two people were assaulted during a robbery at a shop on Central Avenue, Portobello, Wolverhampton.

"Fortunately no one was seriously injured."
