Man charged with conspiracy to burgle after cannabis farm raid and crossbow killings

Detectives investigating a double killing in Brierley Hill have charged a man with conspiracy to burgle.

Bradley Knight was due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court yesterday.

The 22-year-old has been charged in relation to the incident in Pensnett Road on February 20 where two men were killed with a crossbow after an attempted raid on a cannabis factory.

Knight, of Tugford Road in Bournville, Birmingham, is also charged in relation to a separate burglary in Milton Street in Walsall.

Two men have been charged with the murders of 19-year-old Khuzaimah Douglas and 36-year-old Waseem Ramzan, who were shot with a crossbow in the aftermath of the Pensnett Road raid.

Omar Ramzan, 23, and his father Saghawat Ramzan, 46, both of Pensnett Road, have both been charged with two counts of murder.

Meanwhile Micah Evans, 19, of Drummond Street, Lye, has been charged with conspiracy to rob, conspiracy to burgle and perverting the course of justice.

Mr Douglas, of Moseley, Birmingham, was found in Wilson Road where he was pronounced dead, while Mr Ramzan, of Pensnett Road, died in hospital.
