Cannabis farm found in Penkridge

A cannabis farm has been found by police in Penkridge.

Officers destroyed the 27 plants after responding to a call last night.

South Staffordshire Police tweeted: "Tonight shift 2 have responded to concerns related to a cannabis grow in Penkridge.

"Officers attended and discovered 27 plants. There are inherent dangers with any cannabis cultivation.

"The plants were in poor condition but nonetheless, a grow now destroyed."
