Man caught with £25,000 of cocaine in microwave and cannabis in bath

A 53-year-old man who was found with a £25,000 block of cocaine in his microwave has been jailed.

Staffordshire Police raided Adrian Isherwood's property in Railway Line, Burntwood, on August 18, 2018, and discovered the Class A drug.

Officers also discovered cannabis in his bath.

Elsewhere they seized more than £1,100 in cash, scales and cutting agents from his property.

Isherwood, now of Wardles Lane, Great Wryley, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

He has been locked up for 27 months.

Chief Inspector Mark Smith, commander for Lichfield Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Those intending to supply drugs will be caught by our team and Isherwood is just one of many who we work hard to bring to justice.

“Those involved in drugs will not be tolerated and will be brought before the courts.”
