Investigation after video of attack shared online

Police have launched an investigation after a video was shared online showing a man who had allegedly been attacked in Birmingham.

Police are conducting enquiries in the Alum Rock area

The attack is said to have happened in the Alum Rock area at 1.40pm on Monday, February 17.

The victim has now been spoken to, and our officers are conducting enquiries in the Alum Rock area on Wednesday afternoon to establish what happened.

A spokesman from West Midlands Police said: "We are appealing for anyone with information, especially those who were there at the time and witnessed what happened to get in touch."

Anyone with information, can call officers on 101, quoting incident log number 2681 of February 17.
