Appeal after woman attacked by man outside Hednesford pub

Police are appealing for information after a woman was attacked by a man on New Year's Eve.

The woman was left with severe bruising after being attacked by a man outside the Hen House pub in Eskrett Street, Hednesford, police said.

Officers have now appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Cannock Police tweeted saying: "Did you witness an assault outside the Hen House pub on Eskrett Street in Hednesford on New Year's Eve?

"A woman was assaulted by a man, around 5ft 6ins, and was left with severe bruising.

"Anyone with information should email Claire.Reeves2@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk."
