Teenager pleads guilty to damage at Walsall's Asda store

A teenager who admitted causing criminal damage to the ceiling at Walsall’s Asda has pleaded not guilty to theft.

Eduard Trocan, of Drayton Street, Walsall, denied stealing two bottles of whisky worth £50 from the supermarket on Friday.

But the Romania national admitted causing criminal damage to ceiling and wiring.

The 18-year-old, who appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court yesterday, will stand trial on March 24.

Trocan was granted conditional bail by District Judge Richard Baxter.
