A 42-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following his arrest by police in Birmingham.
Cleon Smith, of no fixed address, was appearing before Birmingham magistrates today.
Smith is also charged with wounding, threats to kill, criminal damage, dangerous driving and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was arrested at a property in Cannon Hill Place, Balsall Heath, at 1.30pm on Friday.
A 35-year-old woman was also arrested in Cannon Hill Place on suspicion of assisting an offender.
