Tools worth more than £1,700 stolen from van in Chase Terrace

Tools worth more than £1,700 have been stolen from a van.

Thieves broke into a van in Rugeley Road, Chase Terrace, between 9pm on Wednesday and 7.30am yesterday.

The tools stolen include two Bosch drills to the value of £850, and a Dilog Multi Tester to the value of £900 along with other smaller tools.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "Could you also please warn your neighbours to be on their guard and to make sure their vehicles are as secure as possible at all times.

"It is also advisable, where possible, to empty your vehicles of all valuables before leaving them unattended.
