Man charged with animal cruelty after dog kills pet cat

A man has been charged with animal cruelty after a dog fatally attacked a pet cat.

A CCTV appeal was made by the RSPCA after the pet cat was killed

Amos Price was arrested from an address in Walsall yesterday on suspicion of letting a dog loose to attack a cat in Woodlands Crescent, Pelsall, on October 23.

Price, 30, will appear at Walsall Magistrates' Court tomorrow charged with acting or causing an animal to be cruelly ill-treated.

He has been remanded in custody until the hearing.
