Dangerous driving charge after Black Country police chase

A 21-year old man has been charged with a number of driving offences after a police chase in the Black Country.

Police chased this car after spotting it in Netherton

Kalem Blackburn, from Perry Barr in Birmingham, has been charged with driving while disqualified, driving with no insurance, dangerous driving and failing to stop for an officer.

Police said they spotted a distinctive car being driven dangerously in Netherton while on patrol last night.

The vehicle was seized after a pursuit and Blackburn was taken into custody.

He has been released on bail and is due to appear before Dudley Magistrates Court on November 19.
