The thieves climbed over the fence of a house in Central Avenue, Tipton, before smashing the back door window and gaining access.

They fled with jewellery and personal items after the raid on March 6 at around 12.40pm.

Two teenagers, aged 17 and 19, were arrested after an appeal was launched earlier this year.

The 17-year-old from Kingswinford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was later convicted of burglary.
