Teenage suspect in court after alleged crime spree

A teenager suspected of committing 13 offences has appeared in court.

Kye Everitt was charged with theft from a motor vehicle, vehicle interference, five counts of burglary, three counts of theft of a motor vehicle and three counts of criminal damage.

The 18-year-old was arrested on Tuesday after West Midlands Police issued an appeal for information on his whereabouts.

Everitt, of Daley Road, Bilston, denied the offences when he appeared at Dudley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on August 28.

The force is still appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.

Wolverhampton Police said: "We believe there were a lot of people around at the time and we are appealing for anyone who saw anything or with any information to contact us."
