The campaign is for St Albans Primary School, Willenhall, which had its window smashed.

The fundraising target is £2,500 and so far £180 has been raised.

Elaina Harrison, who wrote the appeal, said: "Every year St Albans school, Ashmore Park, Wolverhampton, seems to suffer from mindless vandalism and this year is no different!

"We would like to raise as much money as possible and hopefully smash the target so the school can put in place more security so this doesn't impact on the children's education like the arson attack did a few years ago.

"Please if you could spare what you can and share this with your friends,it would be appreciated."
