Man slashed with knife after gang attack in Kingswinford park

A man was slashed with a knife when a gang assaulted three people in an attempted robbery in a Black Country park.

West Midlands Police has launched an appeal to catch the culprits after the attack in King George VI park, Green Lane, Kingswinford, just before 2am on June 28.

The knife victim suffered injuries to his arm and was taken to hospital.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We are appealing for information after three people were assaulted in King George VI park in Green Lane, Kingswinford.

"A group of six people demanded all the belongings off them and slashed a man with a knife, causing injuries to his arm that required hospital treatment."
