Owner of the Wych Elm pub in Burntwood, Alasdair Mackenzie, aims to raise £800 to replace the man's bike, who he said is vulnerable and relies on it.

The two-week-old black electric bike was taken at about 11.30pm on Monday, and has left the owner "distraught".

Mr Mackenzie said: "I went to collect the glasses from outside and saw his bike was gone.

"It's left him distraught, he is inconsolable.

"He is very vulnerable." For more information, or to donate, visit justgiving.com/crowdfunding/christians-new-bike
