Man found with serious head and face injuries outside Walsall school
A man was found with serious head and face injuries outside a Walsall school.
Police cordoned off a back entrance outside Palfrey Infant School, in Bescot Street, last night.
Two police cars were at the scene and it has been reported that paramedics were also in the area.
Police have now said a 31-year-old man was found in the street with serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
He is in a stable condition, according to West Midlands Police.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to reports of a man found with head injuries on Bescot Street, Walsall at around 5.25pm yesterday.
"A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with head and facial injuries where he remains in a serious but stable condition."
