Man arrested in Sandwell after trio raid Argos armed with knife

A man has been arrested after a staff member was threatened with a knife during a raid on Argos in Sandwell.

Police believe three men entered through the back of the Bearwood Road, Warley, store just before 5am this morning.

No-one was injured during the raid and a 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

He remains in police custody.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Enquiries continue to trace the other two men and anyone with information is asked to contact police via Live Chat at between 8am and midnight or call 101 anytime, quoting log number 583 of June 22."
