Man arrested in Sandwell after trio raid Argos armed with knife

A man has been arrested after a staff member was threatened with a knife during a raid on Argos in Sandwell.

Police believe three men entered through the back of the Bearwood Road, Warley, store just before 5am this morning.

No-one was injured during the raid and a 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

He remains in police custody.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Enquiries continue to trace the other two men and anyone with information is asked to contact police via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight or call 101 anytime, quoting log number 583 of June 22."
