Drugs and bullets seized during early morning police raids

Two men have been arrested after police seized drugs, cash and ammunition in planned raids on two properties in Sandwell.

Officers and a dog unit executed warrants on a property in Park Lane West in Tipton and a property on Brindlefields Way in Tividale just after 7am today.

They recovered drugs, cash, bullets in Tipton and mobile phones and cash in Tividale, in the planned simultaneous raids.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on Park Lane West on suspicion of conspiracy to supply drugs while a 22-year-old man was arrested in Brindlefields Way on suspicion of supplying drugs.

Both men remain in police custody for questioning.
