£10,000 of cocaine and cash seized after police stop car in Stafford

More than £10,000 worth of cocaine and thousands of pounds in cash have been seized by police.

Officers stopped and searched a vehicle at the Esso Garage at Rising Brook yesterday.

Three men were arrested for offences relating to cannabis and after further inquiries cocaine with a street value of £10,000 was seized along with thousands of pounds in cash.

A 35-year-old man originally from Wolverhampton, now from the Moss Pitt area of Stafford, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of criminal property.

Stafford Police posed on social media saying: "Shaun Davidson-King, originally from Wolverhampton, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of criminal property.

"He has been remanded by police to appear at court after the weekend. #countylines #anotherone #notinourtown."

The other two men arrested have been released under investigation.
