Appeal after man attacked by gang at Cannock railway station

A man has suffered serious injuries after he was attacked by a gang outside Cannock railway station.

The 22-year-old was assaulted by a group of men as he left a train between 7pm and 8pm on Saturday March 30.

He suffered serious facial injuries and bruising after the attack, which happened on the grass embankment opposite the station.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Anyone with information or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious is asked to contact Emma.Francis@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk quoting incident number 190 of 4 May.
