Police find air weapon after responding to firearm call
Police descended on a street in Great Barr after concerns a gun had been found.
Ambulance service crews spotted what they thought was a real gun at a home in Dyas Avenue.
When officers arrived they discovered it was an air weapon.
Officers attended the home at around 4.50am on Tuesday.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "No offences were disclosed and no one was arrested."
One eyewitness reported seeing 'riot gear and guns'.
