Four arrests after latest Wolverhampton stabbing

Four people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Wolverhampton.

Police were called to Evans Street in Whitmore Reans at around 2.30pm yesterday and arrested four people on suspicion of assault.

The 35-year-old victim was taken to hospital and is not believed to have suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries, according to West Midlands Police.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to Evans Street in Whitmore Reans, around 2.30pm where a man was taken to hospital with stab injuries.

"His condition is not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

"Four people have been arrested on suspicion of assault – two men aged 30 and 55, and two women aged 21 and 22."

Police confirmed the four had been released on police bail until June 6.
