By Thomas Parkes | Bloxwich | Crime | Published:

A woman in her 90s was robbed as she used a cashpoint on Bloxwich High Street.

The CCTV image

The pensioner was targeted as she used the ATM outside Barclays Bank.

The victim was barged out of the way by the thief, who kept the pensioner away from the machine and pressed a button to increase the amount of money being taken out.

The woman withdrew the cash and walked off along High Street, towards Lichfield Road, just before noon on April 11.

And now West Midlands Police has released an image of the woman they want to identify in connection with the robbery.

She is described as Eastern European, of slim build and with very long dark hair in a plat.

Anyone with information is urged to call the force on 101 anytime, quoting 20WS/87289U/19.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
