Two county lines drug dealers from Dudley have been jailed for peddling heroin and crack cocaine.

Callum Clee, 21 and of Willow Road, and Muhammed Shabaz Sheikh, 23 and of New Birmingham Road, were sentenced to 31 months and four years in prison respectively for dealing the class A drugs.

Clee, Sheikh and 42-year-old Katherine Ray from Kidderminster all pleaded guilty to the offences at Hereford Crown Court on Friday.

They were prosecuted after police found Clee with a large amount of individually wrapped heroin and crack cocaine bags following a tip-off about drug dealing at an address in Kidderminster.

Ray, of Jubilee Drive, was allowing the drugs to be sold from her premises and also selling drugs, while further enquiries linked Sheikh to the running of a drug line in the area.

DC Marc Waring, of West Mercia Police, said after the sentencing: "We will always take reports of drug dealing seriously and do everything we can to ensure our communities are kept safe and protected from harm.

"I want to make it clear that dealing drugs and also allowing your home to be used for drugs to be sold by a person, or group of people from outside of the area is not acceptable.

"If you are asked to allow your premises to be the venue for such activities please contact us immediately so that we can help."
