Police recover cannabis after raid in Oldbury

A cannabis factory has been shut down after police raided a property in Oldbury.

Police raided the property this afternoon

Officers acted on reports from local residents and raided a house on Badsey Road, in the Lion Farm Estate this afternoon.

They recovered five plants and shut down the factory and distribution network inside the property.

Three people are now helping police with their enquiries.

West Midlands Police spokesman Craig Hughes said: "Five plants were found at an address in Badsey Road, Oldbury this afternoon. Three people are helping police with their enquiries."
