Burglars push woman and steal jewellery in Essington

Burglars broke into a home and stole £3,000 worth of valuables, pushing a woman out of their way as they fled.

Two men forced their way into the house in Hawthorn Road, Essington, at 9.15am on March 28.

A woman at the property disturbed the men before they made off, pushing her out of the way and causing minor injuries.

The men made off with a large quantity of jewellery and valuables worth almost £3,000, a large quantity of cash and a set of car keys.

The suspects are believed to have been wearing dark clothing.
