Teenager's bike stolen at knifepoint in Halesowen

A teenager was threatened with a knife and had his bike stolen in Halesowen.

The terrifying ordeal unfolded as the 15-year-old boy was in Stourbridge Road on April 5 at around 3.50pm.

West Midlands Police has now launched an investigation and is appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

A spokesman for the force said: "Police are investigating after a bike was stolen at knifepoint from a 15-year-old boy on Stourbridge Road in Halesowen on Friday, April 5.

"An appointment was made for Wednesday to speak to the child’s father to establish the exact circumstances around the incident.

"There is no further update and enquiries are on-going."

Anyone with information, or who witnessed the incident, is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101 quoting log number 20DY/86408K/19.
